Donald Smith returns the opening kickoff to the Vance 30!

The GW Eagles
knew they would be facing a formidable opponent in their 2015 home opener.
After a promising start, several unforced errors and a talented foe, the Eagles
dropped a 28-7 decision. Despite a return of the opening kickoff to the
Vance 30 by Donald Smith, the Eagles could not capitalize. The Eagles were
held to 73 first-half yards but trailed only 14-0 at the break. Vance
jumped out to a 21-0 lead before the Eagles were able to go to the air and
break the goose egg. The Eagles Defensive
Backs turned in another big outing, with three more
picks!
The Eagles are now 1-1 and welcome arch-rival E.C. Glass to Christopher Stadium
next Friday.
