Week 6

For the second week in a row, the GW Eagles's defense took center stage. They held the Tunstall Trojans to 120 yards, including only 33 on the ground. They recorded a season-high six sacks as the Eagles thumped the Trojans 37-7.

The Eagles took an early 6-0 lead, but Tunstall bounced back in their second possession and took a 7-6 lead on a 37-yard touchdown pass.

The Eagles re-took the lead less than a minute later. Then, they used their defense to stretch the lead further.

Later in the second quarter, a young Eagle earned his wings, scoring his first high-school touchdown!

In the second half, the Eagles' defense continued their stellar play---headlined by Carl Poole. He recorded three sacks, made three other tackles for losses, and capped it off with this angry-looking 21-yard touchdown run to round out the scoring.
