Another tough opener
The
Reidsville Rams used big plays from two elite players and a stingy defense to overpower the G.W. Eagles.
6'7" 250 Kendre Harrison (Oregon commit) and tiny Dionte Neal (App St.
commit) each scored two receiving touchdowns in a first half
explosion. They led 36-0 at the break, and cruised through a
scrolling clock second half to post a 42-14 win over the Eagles. It was
the teams' first meeting in 19 seasons.
The Eagles didn't get on board until the second half, when Dominick
Neal-Harrison capped a drive with a three-yard touchdown. Late in
the game, the Eagles got a big run from a junior to make it a 42-14
final.
